Focused Estate Planning, After Death, Elder Law, and LLC Services
Sometimes parents need a trusted adult to help care for their child for a limited period of time, such as during travel, medical treatment, or a temporary change in living arrangements. A Power of Attorney for Temporary Delegation of Parental Powers allows you to legally authorize another adult to make day-to-day decisions for your child while you remain the child’s parent and retain your underlying rights.
At Thomas Legal, PLLC, we help Michigan parents prepare clear, practical delegation documents that fit their specific situation and comply with state law.

If you’re ready to put a Delegation of Parental Powers in place, I offer this service for a flat fee of $295. To get started, please complete a short intake form, which usually takes about 5–10 minutes. After I receive your completed form, I’ll review it and call you to schedule a time to discuss your goals. If we decide to move forward, I will then send you a written engagement agreement.
